Ursus was an incredible male for us to own for our first stud male and we thank our friend Randy very much for importing him for us.  He was invaluable to our breeding program.  His temperament was outstanding, impeccable, exactly what a German Shepherd Dog should be like and he won many hearts over to the breed.  He was courageous, strong, very loving, and was an incredible worker, to the point of an ovation at the Las Vegas Sieger Show for his strong display in the protection phase.  In his later years after retirement, he really befriended Jeff and somehow forgot that Heidi ever existed!  He had a love for a good ride in the van with Jeff.  A sweet male soul that we were so happy to encounter and will never forget.
